A brand mark for a medical device that measures cardiac output based on changes in respiratory CO2 concentration caused by a brief period of rebreathing. The NICO Respiratory Profile Monitor uses a proprietary system to measure and calculate CO2 and cardiac output. The scientific notation CO2 was incorporated into the trademark to reinforce the product's unique technology.
